(Reuters) – Three friends of a slain Florida teenager testified on Friday that they did not have a gun and posed no threat when a man opened fire on them in November 2012 because he was upset over loud rap music they were playing at a gas station. Michael Dunn, 47, a white software engineer, is being retried in the racially-charged case for first degree murder in the death of Jordan Davis, a black 17-year-old. Dunn fired 10 rounds at an SUV carrying Davis and his three friends at a Jacksonville gas station. …
Valve introduces Steam Music P...
Valve released the Steam Music Player for all Steam users earlier this week, and the company marked the launch with a sale on six different titles in the Half-Life universe and their original soundtracks. Steam Music, which Valve originally announced this past February, allows people to point Steam to music on their computer and listen to those songs while they're playing games. Valve brought Steam Music out of beta and added the feature for all Steam users with the Sept. 24 update to the Steam client.

(Reuters) – Amazon.com Inc's head of digital music and video is departing the e-commerce company by the end of the year, a company spokeswoman said on Wednesday. It was not immediately clear whether Bill Carr, who is a vice president, is leaving Amazon to take another job. An Amazon spokeswoman said Carr is planning to spend time with family. Carr, 47, has been instrumental in Amazon's push to take on Netflix Inc and Hulu in streaming online video, according to the Wall Street Journal, which initially reported the departure. …
