Better Call Saul’s Wacky...
What should you do if you get caught with a George Foreman Grill down the back of your blue jeans? Or if the FBI finds kids trapped in your creepy van? Or if your husband disappears in the most convenient way? According to this wacky new music video, there's only one option: Call Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). AMC has released a wacky promotional music video for its upcoming Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul that features country singer Junior Brown listing potential troubles—and, presumably, storylines—that Saul's clients might find themselves in. Co-showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould wrote the lyrics, with music by Breaking Bad composer Dave Porter. The video also contains new footage from the series, which premieres in February and has already been renewed for a second season. LONDON (Reuters) – American singer Meghan Trainor was propelled to the number one spot in the British singles chart on Sunday by a surge in sales and online demand for her upbeat pop track "All about that Bass", the Official Charts Company said. Trainor's song was listened to more than 1 million times online, helping it dethrone "Bang Bang" by pop trio Jessie J, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande, which charted in second place. Taylor Swift's "Shake it off" held firm in third place, with Sigma's "Changing" and "Blame" by Calvin Harris coming in at numbers four and five respectively. …

By Alex Dobuzinskis LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Grammy-winning mariachi bandleader Nati Cano, who stirred American audiences with the folk sounds of his native Mexico and played a key role in helping to teach young people how to play the music, has died at age 81, a bandmate said on Saturday. Cano died on Friday at a hospital in Fillmore, California, after a long battle with cancer, said the bandmate, Sergio Alonso. Born in 1933 in a rural town near Guadalajara, Mexico, Natividad "Nati" Cano grew up with the mariachi music his family of day laborers played in their spare time. …

Chef BFFs and television personalities John Besh and Aaron Sanchez will open Johnny Sanchez in the former Ste. Marie space this month. While no official opening date is yet known, this week Besh and Sanchez chum it up via video for NOLA.com, revealing that there will be live music at the upcoming restaurant. As for the food, it's all about ever-evolving contemporary crossroads of Latin/Mexican meeting a Louisiana-French style of cooking with tacos, tostadas and ceviches as the "driving point" of the menu.

(Reuters) – A Florida jury found Michael Dunn, a middle-aged white man, guilty of first-degree murder on Wednesday in the shooting death of an unarmed black teenager in an argument over loud rap music. Dunn, 47, a software engineer, testified he thought he was defending himself from an armed threat when he fired 10 rounds at an SUV carrying four teens at a Jacksonville gas station parking lot, killing Jordan Davis, 17. Dunn and Davis exchanged words before the shooting about the loud music coming from the SUV. …
